HL7 Integration Analyst

Our client is looking for a rockstar HL7 Integration Analyst that will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces and file transfers between systems and providing interface project support. These interfaces connect the EHR to other healthcare applications, services and data exchanges. Some examples include laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and CCDA exchange. 🏥

Primary functions include:

• Researching and gathering functional requirements for specific interfaces
• Analyzing complex data sets (HL7 2.x, XML messaging formats such as C-CDA)
• Providing quality assurance testing on new or enhanced interfaces
• Researching/investigating new technologies or workflows as needed to support members
• Collaborating with stakeholders (internal, members, vendors) to address integration issues
• Coordinating build and testing activities with members and third-party vendors

A successful candidate should have the following:

• Experience with interface engines and file transfer software
• Working knowledge of HL7 standards
• Experience working with Corepoint Integration Engine (or competitor product)
• Experience performing Quality Assurance testing is highly desired
• Familiarity with healthcare semantic standards (e.g. LOINC, SNOMED, etc.)
• Experience with FHIR
• Experience working with many data formats (e.g., HL7, X12, EDI, FHIR, XML, CDA, CSV, etc.)
• Proven experience interfacing with systems including EHR/EMR/LIS/RIS/PACS/HIS
• Understanding of XML, RDBMS technologies (primarily SQL & Oracle) and JavaScript
• SQL Query Writing, SQL Tuning
• HL7 certification is desired
