About the Role

We're on the lookout for a "mid-level" Python Engineer passionate about crafting innovative and scalable web applications. Your role will revolve around designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using a blend of programming languages, frameworks, and tools.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain web applications across various programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, build, and roll out top-notch web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Identify and resolve issues within web applications, ensuring timely resolutions.
  Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the development of junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices.
  Manage database operations and integrate with external APIs.
• Uphold high-quality and performance standards, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable web applications.
• Engage in agile development methodologies.
  Contribute to enhancing processes and tools, fostering the team's collective knowledge.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Operating Tools:
  • AWS services
  • Linux/Unix OS CLI
  • Nginx
  • Apache
  • Git
• Programming Skills:
  
  • Essential: Python, Django, Bootstrap
  • Preferred: Ruby, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js
• Database Experience:
  
  • Proficiency in MySQL; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Third-Party Integrations:
  
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations with external APIs, including social media platforms and OpenAI.
• Additional Qualifications:
  
  • Familiarity with automated testing/QA processes is beneficial.
  • A client-focused, empathetic, and optimistic attitude is crucial; a love for music is a significant advantage.
